For what it’s worth, hematite, which means blood red, is one of the oldest pigments and was used by our ancestors for cave paintings. Kala Hematite is a dusky, dreamy grey-purple, not as wet as Scapolite but slightly sluggish. It is a pleasing, soothing color, especially with B and fude nibs.
