Colorverse Delicious Sleep — Ink Review #257

Image
Colorverse - Delicious Sleep   Ink Review # 257   --- 🧾 Description   Ink:  Delicious Sleep Series:  Joy in the Ordinary Brand:  Colorverse Country:  South Korea Bottle size:  30 mL Pens Used:  Pilot F3A EF semi-flex, Lamy Safari (EF, F, M, B, stub 1.1)   I got a sample on a whim. I’m very particular with purples and this one is not for me.    The ink is wet, has slightly below-average lubrication, and shows subtle shading on most papers, with excellent shading on Iroful.   The ink doesn’t like copy paper and even had a bit of show-through on Rhodia.    It will survive a few drops of water but not a flood.    Apart from the label on the ink bottle, this ink is a pass for me. I prefer my purples muted, or darker.  --- 🧪 Chroma   --- ✍️ Writing Samples (photos LED and daylight)   Translations from language are provided for reference only and may differ from published versions.   JEF ...

Pens Used:  Pilot F3A EF, Semi-Flex. Lamy (EF/F/M/B/ Stub 1.1) Dominant Industry is fairly new Korean Ink-maker.  They are well distributed around the world. Ink comes in 25 ml teardrop bottles.    This ink belongs to the Painter series, some of them are standard, some shimmer. As of now there are 3 painters, Monet, Turner and Mucha.    For some reason Goldspot ink and Pen addict  consider this a shimmer ink. There is  Les Falaise à Etretat  but that’s a turquoise shimmer ink.    Ink is named after one of the first paintings of the Etretat cliff and arches in Normandy France.    Flow is dry, and ink has below average lubrication.  ...

Tono and Lims Hiiragi Ink Review #  41   Originally posted on FPN:  Jan 15, 2023   Ink:  Hiiragi Series:  Fixation line Type:  Pigment ink. Brand:  Tono and Lims Country:  Japan / South Korea; ink made in Korea. Availability:  30 ml bottles. Pens Used:  Pilot Kakuno M, Jinhao 450 medium, Kanwrite ultra-flex, TWSBI Go stub. Description This is my first pigment ink from this brand. According to Shigure Inks, Tono & Lims is a Japanese brand whose inks are a collaboration with South Korean ink producer Lim's Lab . The inks are made in Korea. This is a pigment ink belonging to the Tono & Lims Fixation Line for fountain pens. It comes in cute glass bottles, which is very appealing. The name of the ink, 柊 Hiiragi, corresponds to Osmanthus heterophyllus, or false holly, a lovely shrub with dark holly-shaped leaves and fragrant flowers. I am guessing the color corresponds to young shoots or to the yellowish-green of a certain cultiv...
