Russian series are more expensive than Noodler's normal lineup.  Pens Used:  Pilot Elite (EF), Lamy Safari (EF, F, M, B), Soennecken Schulfüller S4, Jinhao 450 Fude nib Description Dostoyevsky is one of the greatest and most influential Russian novelists of the 19 th  century. You can find more about him here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fyodor_Dostoevsky After the De Atramentis Artist/ Document Cyan and Turquoise disaster reviews, I was wary of trying another permanent blue.  To my surprise, Noodler’s Dostoyevsky was “quite good” in comparison. It's very usable with a good pen and paper combination. It is a legible turquoise color. I enjoyed journaling many pages with it. I forgive a lot of things ...

De Atramentis — Document Cyan   Ink Review #  53   Originally posted on FPN:  Mar 24, 2023   Ink:  Cyan Series:  Document Brand:  De Atramentis Country:  Germany Type:  Pigment ink Availability:  45 ml bottles.  Pens Used:  Pilot Kakuno (EF), Lamy Safari (EF, F, M), Jinhao 450 Fude nib Description According to Oxford Dictionary: “ cyan   is a greenish-blue color which is one of the primary subtractive colors, complementary to red.” ORIGIN late 19th century: from Greek kuaneos ‘dark blue’. De Atramentis — Artist Cyan   Ink Review #  52   Originally posted on FPN:  Mar 23, 2023   Ink:  Artist Cyan Series:  Artist Brand:  De Atramentis Country:  Germany Type:  Pigment ink Availability:  50 ml bottle. Pens Used:  Pilot Kakuno (EF/stub), Lamy Safari (EF, F, M, B), Kanwrite ultra-flex, Jinhao fude. Description This is another wet, permanent ink from De Atramentis. Its color is almost identical to that of the atrocious Document Cyan, but its behavior is a slight improvement. If you absolutely need to try Cyan, I recommend the Artist over the Document. In all honesty, I did not enjoy this ink, it has not much character. However, it's pretty to look at in a transparent pen. Note on pigment inks:  Pigmented fountain pen inks are best used in well-sealed pens that are easy to dismantle. Regular cleaning is advisable, and pen flush may be needed if water alone is not enough. Chroma Writing Samples Rhodia Rhodia was the...
