Inkebara Earth   Ink Review # 251 Originally posted on FPN:  Jun 18, 2026    --- 🧾  Description   Ink:  Earth Brand:  Inkebara Country:  Czech Republic Bottles:  60 ml bottles. Pens Used:  Pilot F3A EF semi-flex, Kaweco (EF/F/M/B/BB/ stub 1.1/1.9), Leonardt Principal EF (iroful), Brause Rose (Midori, Tr68 gsm)   Earth is a sepia ink, the darker version of Sand that I reviewed earlier. It is a “dual” shader. Though I was hard pressed to see anything, unless I used a dip pen. Ink has phenomenal dry times. Flow is average and lubrication is below average, but acceptable: you’ll get some pleasant feedback.    I use a Pilot F3A, semi-flex, as I didn’t have enough ink.  Ink is paler with finer nibs.   ---   🧪  Chroma   --- ✍️  Writing Samples  (photos LED and daylight) Translations from language are provided for reference only and may differ from published versions.     ...

I didn’t notice any of it, until I hit it with water.     Like most colours in this hue, it lacks lubrication and is unpleasant with F nibs and below. It has a watery like quality and was unpleasant with the fude nib.    I believe it’s best suited for absorbent papers.     I had mishap with my sample, so I ran out of the ink with the flex nib, though in retrospect I’m glad I did.   This ink needs a soft and ideally wide nib to make it work.    This ink needs a soft and ideally wide nib to make it work...
