🧾 Description

Ink: Earth

Brand: Inkebara

Country: Czech Republic

Bottles: 60 ml bottles.

Pens Used: Pilot F3A EF semi-flex, Kaweco (EF/F/M/B/BB/ stub 1.1/1.9), Leonardt Principal EF (iroful), Brause Rose (Midori, Tr68 gsm)

Earth is a sepia ink, the darker version of Sand that I reviewed earlier. It is a “dual” shader. Though I was hard pressed to see anything, unless I used a dip pen. Ink has phenomenal dry times. Flow is average and lubrication is below average, but acceptable: you’ll get some pleasant feedback.

I use a Pilot F3A, semi-flex, as I didn’t have enough ink.

Ink is paler with finer nibs.

Proud Pride of Lions

Inktober52, 2026: Proud

It is said in Aesop’s fable that the mouse saved the lion. What is not said is that the lion invited the mouse to his den as an honoured guest, only to discover his pride massacred, with only three cubs alive, hidden there by some miracle. So the mouse stayed on and took care of the cubs, only to save the lion once again. Here, they are proudly attending their graduation at the Serengeti Prom.
