Ink Review # 22

Description
In general, most of the Russian Series inks are some of the best “bulletproof” inks I’ve tried, and Esenin is in that category. I’ve been enjoying this eye-searing ink for quite a while.
Sergei Esenin also transliterated as Yesenin was a Russian poet. His works can be described by his quote: “The Empress told me my poems were beautiful, but sad. I replied, the same could be said about Russia as a whole.”
It is purported that his last poem was written with his blood when he couldn’t find ink in his hotel room.
Hence the ink’s reddish eye-searing color.
With an F nib it has an orange-red hue, but with the flex it shows more character.
All in all, is a delightful red ink for those who are looking for an unabashed retina-burning red.
