Taccia — Momo Pink

Ink Review # 35

Ink: Momo Pink
Brand: Taccia
Country: Japan
Availability: 40 ml bottles
Pens Used: Jinhao 450 (M /fude)

Description

This ink was part of a blind test on the FPGeeks website. It's fun testing inks without knowing anything about them. It removes a lot of preconceived ideas about names, brands and country of origin.

For my first Taccia ink, I got an unapologetic screaming pink.

It’s a fun ink for washes and accents, but I don't see myself writing with it. It has the subtlety of bubblegum.

Chroma

Writing Samples

Rhodia

Dry time: It was quite long on Rhodia. But the Jinhao 450s are very wet pens. So take it with a grain of salt:

Midori

Midori – Note: The feed was saturated on the 2nd line.

Tomoe River 68 gsm

Note: Tomoe River used here is 68 gsm, not the thinner 52 gsm version commonly referenced in reviews.

Mnemosyne

Hilroy

This is a cheap Hilroy notebook. The paper is so thin that even pencil marks can ghost.

Comparison

Mystery ink #45 is Momo Pink. It's very close to Diamine Hope Pink.
