Ink Review # 58

Description
Kakimori is a stationery shop in Tokyo Japan.
They have a range of inks and stationery, which epitomizes Japanese minimalism and elegance. They also different dip-pen nibs and pen holders. They make personalized inks and notebooks.
Their pigment line comes in beautiful bottles.
According to them:
"A perfect omelet reveals its deliciously soft center. Torori is the color of anticipation, describing a rich consistency overflowing with flavor."
This is the least beautiful ink in the bottle. It is surprising that such an unflattering colour can transform into such a light and joyous orange.
The ink is very wet, has below-average lubrication, and has long dry times.
As a writing ink, I found it enjoyable only with a B nib. But even then, it was not comfortable to read. However, if you want to write unwanted thoughts, or a vengeance letter with a F nib to make the reader suffer, it's a good choice. 😀
Surprisingly it’s a fun ink to sketch or doodle with.
Note on pigment inks: Pigmented fountain pen inks are best used in well-sealed pens that are easy to dismantle. Regular cleaning is advisable, and pen flush may be needed if water alone is not enough.
