Organics Studio — Blue Merle — Ink Review #75
Organics Studio — Blue Merle
Ink Review # 75

Description
As I was truly impressed by Ernest's Vintage Writing Fluid, Oscar's Copper, I became curious about Organics Studio’s other offerings. Intrigued by Blue Merle, I decided to give it a shot. From what I understand, this is a recreation of one of Carter's vintage inks.
However, my sample does not reflect the original Blue Merle, a grey-black color. It's a delicious-looking blue-black with a hint of teal. It has slightly below-average lubrication and shades.

Rhodia
Midori
Tomoe River 68 gsm
Note: Tomoe River used here is 68 gsm, not the thinner 52 gsm version commonly referenced in reviews.
Hammermill 20 lb
Note: bleed-through is because I was using a gusher of a vintage pen.

Paper is Mnemosyne. Pen is a vintage wet-noodle.
