Kakimori — Tototo
Ink Review # 90

Description
Kakimori describes this ink as such: "Tototo is the gentle melody of a special rosé poured in quiet company. A colour to elevate everyday life or celebrate a special occasion. Our original inks are inspired by Japanese word play and imagery. Listen to the colourful conversations of dripping ink "
I used to love the Kakimori line with their appealing bottles and whimsical names. As writing inks I cannot recommend them anymore, mostly because of their long dry times, ironically on Japanese paper.
However, as artist inks they are fabulous. They're easy to clean and waterproof.
If you buy the inks directly from their website, you can choose aluminum or wooden caps instead of the standard plastic cap.
Note on pigment inks: Pigmented fountain pen inks are best used in well-sealed pens that are easy to dismantle. Regular cleaning is advisable, and pen flush may be needed if water alone is not enough.
